ENROLLMENT & TUITION
Enrollment
Tender Shepherd enrolls children ages 2 to 5 in full-day or part-day programs (see below).
Our classes are often full and we regularly have a waiting list, so please contact us right away if you’d like to register your child.
Registration requires submitting a completed Registration Form (AY 2022-2023) and payment along with medical clearance, birth certificate, and up-to-date immunizations record including a current PPD skin test.
Members of the Lutheran Church of Guam are given priority and tuition discounts. Payment must be turned in prior to attending school.
What Parents Must Provide: Closed-toed shoes, baby wipes, sunblock, water bottle, extra clothes, painting shirt. If napping, please provide a small blanket, small flat sheet, and a small pillow.
What Not to Bring: Toys from home, valuable items (iPods, etc.), T-shirts promoting violence or drug use.

Hourly Rate
- $4/hour ($1/quarter hour)
For 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. students, upon availability. Pickup 10 minutes after scheduled time will be charged the quarter-hour fee.
Daily Drop-in Rate
- $35
Upon availability of space at the director’s discretion and scheduled in advance.
Weekly Rate
- $140
Upon availability of space at the director’s discretion and scheduled in advance.

Tuition Payments
Tuition payments are due the 1st through the 10th of each month. Any tuition payment made after the 10th of the month will be considered late, resulting in a charge of 10% of the remaining balance due. Failure to pay the account balance will result in the student being discharged from Tender Shepherd Preschool at the beginning of the next month unless payment arrangements have been made with the director.
During the school year (August-May), the preschool does not pro-rate tuition cost.
Family Vacations
When planning a vacation, please inform the director in advance and in writing that your child/children will be gone during a certain period. This will assist the teacher in preparing the daily lesson and snack schedules for the rest of the class. This will also help ensure that important lessons are not missed. These may easily be rescheduled when advance notice is given. Your cooperation in this matter will only serve to prepare your child/children in their academics.
